Ceramic Easter Bunny Floral Arrangement

Are any of you crafters floral arrangement challenged like me? I love the look of flowers, both fresh and faux, but when it comes to arranging them, I feel less than confident. This goes for both wreaths and for vases. I started to get over my fear of florals last year when I made my Lavender & White Floral Spring Wreath and then I felt even more sure of my process for my Easy Neutral Fall Wreath. Vases are a whole other animal, though. I tried and failed hard last summer trying to make a faux flower arrangement for July 4th.  It was just ugly. And I did slightly better with my  Dollar Tree Egg Bouquet Centerpiece, but I felt inspired to try again when I saw this adorable little guy in Target’s Dollar Spot. So come and see how easily I put together this Ceramic Easter Bunny Floral Arrangement, knowing that you can make one, too, even if florals aren’t your thing either.

Ceramic Easter Bunny Floral Arrangement Steps

1. Cut the floral foam with the knife so it fits snugly inside your bunny vase and cram stuff it inside.

Ceramic Easter Bunny Floral Arrangement Step 1

2. Hold a flower stem up to your bunny vase to get an idea of how much of the stem you’ll need to cut off. It took me three tries because I didn’t want to cut off too much. The stems in the middle will end up being a little longer than the side ones.

3. Start in the center and poke each stem into the foam block, working your way around and down. You want to place the flowers closest to the edge of the vase opening at an angle so they block visibility of the green stem bases. They should all hug the vase closely and compactly.

TIP: Don’t be afraid to just poke the stems in and pull them out several times until you get the look you want. See all of those extra holes? Yeah, it took me a few times to get it right.

TIP 2.0: Using nicer florals like these that I found at Michael’s makes a huge difference in how nice the arrangement turns out. So if you’ve only used dollar store flowers and didn’t like the results, find yourself a coupon and go get some quality flower pics!

1-2-3 and you’re done! I think this took me less than 10 minutes to make and I certainly don’t mind that at all. This Ceramic Easter Bunny Floral Arrangement is a simple yet pretty way to add bright spring colors and lightness to your spring decor without spending loads of cash or time making it. You can use any variety of flower types and colors of course. I chose these pretty pink roses because I got them for a steal on sale at Michaels for only $5 a bunch! What kinds of flowers would you use in yours?

How pretty! I do okay with faux floral arrangements, but I struggle when arranging fresh flowers. Gloria does it beautifully, so I often have her come over to arrange mine. The flowers you chose are lovely. I agree that quality faux flowers can make a big difference.
